As a Senior Machine Learning Researcher, you will be part of our product-focused research team. In close collaboration with our platform and other web and ML product teams, you will enable fast iterations, multimodality, and scalable ML solutions for existing and future products. Within this unique position, you can access data from hundreds of thousands of treatments. This data includes scans of tens of millions of teeth which allow us to model subtle anatomical variations and treatment predictions needed for our high-precision products. Together with the ML Engineers, Product Manager, and other ML Researchers in the team, you will own and extend our live AI products that support treatment workflows.

In Promaton, we have a successful track record of multiple ML products processing hundreds of thousands of treatment plans yearly.

To apply for this job, we require candidates to meet the following essential qualifications:

• Strong affinity with 3D Shape and Geometry Analysis: demonstrated proficiency in utilizing machine learning for 3D shape and geometry analysis, focused on applications such as graphics, AR/VR, and 3D shape/object generation.

• At least four years of work experience (apart from academic work) using ML for 3D geometry with a focus on 3D modeling, shape generation, and/or 3D shape reconstruction involving 3D point clouds and 3D mesh data.

• Strong experience with Deep Learning Model Design and Validation (apart from academic work) with a proven track record in designing, enhancing, and validating deep learning models, with an emphasis on deep learning applications in both 2D and 3D image processing.

• Product-Commercial Experience: a history of product development experience, including successful deployment of machine learning systems in live production environments, not limited to prototype development and not limited to research/academic experience.

• Technical Skills: strong hands-on experience with Python, AWS, and deep learning frameworks like Pytorch.

• Software Development Proficiency: Extensive familiarity with software development workflows, including Git, GitHub, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).

• Passion for Software Engineering: a commitment to software engineering principles, best practices, and the ability to contribute to clean and maintainable code.

• Proactive Work Ethic: A proactive and self-driven personality with a natural inclination to drive projects and initiatives forward and a pragmatic mindset to lead initiatives and help release ML solutions into production.

Bonus points:

• Mathematics background in differential geometry or topology, or/and PhD in a related field.

• Hands-on experience with the newest generative models.

• Previous experience in a regulated field, preferably medical AI, medical imaging (panoramic X-ray, CBCT).
