Job description

At Promaton, we're making significant progress with our automated crown design technology. Did you know that many prosthetic design steps are tedious and time-consuming and, as a result, affect the efficiency of dental laboratories and clinics? Do you know that easily accessible prosthetics simulation can help clinicians reach better patient outcomes? We are currently expanding our automated prosthetics capabilities through AI and other automation. Do you want to have a significant impact on the world by automating prosthetic design workflows and thereby improving the efficiency and quality of dental restorations for millions of patients?

Promaton is on a mission to provide fast, more accessible, and higher-quality dental healthcare to patients worldwide. We are a mature startup with a strong 'people first' culture, and we’re on a very exciting path to integrate with Straumann, a globally recognized leader in dentistry. We are passionate about technical innovation in healthcare, value autonomy, and implement best practices from top tech product companies. See our company page to learn more about what we do.

What success looks like

This is how we define success for scaling our prosthetics automation products:

  • Drive our crown design (AI + tools) to production with a couple of partners, while expanding the clinical spectrum it can address.

  • Navigate our prosthetics products through quality and regulatory milestones by ensuring comprehensive documentation, meeting compliance requirements, and maintaining rigorous quality standards throughout development.

  • Support the adoption of other prosthetics automation internally and by customers.

  • Guard product team excellence through metrics, (regulated) quality control, process, and progress reporting

  • Collaborate effectively internally and with our development partner to maximize their reach and impact on our prosthetics automation.

  • Ensure that our product performs well, is easily accessible, and offers a great user experience to increase the satisfaction score of dental laboratories and clinicians significantly.

  • Ensure successful integration and satisfaction with our prosthetics automation products across partner platforms.

What you'll need to succeed

You are a product manager who thrives in complex eco-systems, with proven experience improving and scaling market-ready products in regulated domains. You get energy from running product operations to achieve results and rally, inspire, and organize your product team and diverse stakeholders to take action. You can effectively navigate the intersection of clinical requirements, regulatory compliance, and AI technology while maintaining clear communication across multiple stakeholder groups. Furthermore, you have a strong technical affinity for developing AI products with your team.

Strengthen product feedback loop.

You strengthen and integrate the product feedback loop with your product team and partners. This clinically-driven process helps identify necessary product improvements and new features to drive continuous growth in product usage.

Drive product team operations to achieve goals

You empower your product development team by making strategic decisions aligned with company objectives (OKRs) and customer needs while maintaining operational discipline to meet these objectives. You do this by maintaining the product roadmap, facilitating agile ceremonies, collaborating with clinical experts, grooming the product backlog, writing product specs, and holding the team accountable for results.

(Project) manage quality control

You plan and manage releases according to quality management procedures (you will work on a regulated product in a medical market). You continuously focus on quality and clinical performance: You follow up on issues, address product underperformance in clinical cases, and assure quality in new features via in-house clinical expertise and user testing.

Communication & stakeholder influence

You standardize communication across teams and partners to keep everyone on the same page, manage dependencies, and process user feedback and requests, support, and other cross-functional teams. You drive product adoption while collaborating with partners to ensure their successful implementation of AI products and alignment with shared goals..
