AI product manager (oral healthcare)

Job description

Promaton is successfully changing dental healthcare by automating dental treatment planning workflows through applying AI on medical images, and recently we won the prestigious Red Dot Design Award with our application partner. Do you know that many treatment planning steps for surgery are tedious and time consuming, and as a result, are skipped at the cost of the patient's treatment quality? In November we started rolling out our CBCT-segmentation product worldwide to successfully prevent this from happening. Currently, we are in the process of expanding the CBCT-segmentation product to multiple partners, for example the second largest digital Orthodontics player in the world. Do you want to have a significant impact in the world by automating 75% of dental treatment planning workflows, and thereby changing the life of millions of people that undergo surgery, ranging from implant placement to beautiful smile designs?

Promaton is on a mission to provide fast, more accessible and higher quality dental healthcare to patients all across the globe. We are a startup growing rapidly and have a very strong โ€˜people firstโ€™ culture. We are passionate about technical innovation in healthcare, we value autonomy and implement best practices from top tech product companies. See our company page to learn more about what we do.

What success looks like

This is how we define success for scaling the CBCT-segmentation product:

  • Scale the CBCT API case load to a multiple of the current monthly cases in 1 year by systematic, user/clinical data-driven approach with the product team

  • Guard product team excellence through metrics, (regulated) quality control, process, and progress reporting

  • Continuously grow the product team, consisting of you as the product manager, team lead and 4-6 smart machine learning researchers and engineers

  • Significantly increase the NPS satisfaction score from the clinical operators

  • Ensure new partners integrate and are satisfied with the CBCT products that we are currently developing, you can navigate a complex field of complex stakeholders

  • Help further grow the company and team in 2024

Weโ€™re on a mission to change dental healthcare making it more affordable and accessible to patients. Are you willing to help us achieve this goal!?

What youโ€™ll need to succeed

You are a product manager with a strong delivery focus to further improve and scale a product that is on the market. Running product operations to achieve results and rallying, inspiring and organizing your product team and stakeholders to take action energizes you. Furthermore, you have a strong technical affinity for developing AI products with your machine learning team. You enable your team to excel in delivering high-quality products on time.

Strengthen product feedback loop

You strengthen and better integrate the product feedback loop into product development with your product team and partners. This data-driven process informs you about which product improvements are needed and/or which new features need to be developed to continuously increase product usage.

Drive product team operation to achieve goals

You lead the product team by prioritizing the product backlog against company objectives (OKRs) and customer pains and applying operational discipline to your team to meet these objectives. You do this by maintaining the product roadmap, facilitating agile ceremonies, grooming the product backlog, writing product specs and holding the team accountable for results. Also, you have a knack for driving operational efficiency.

(Project) manage quality control

You plan and manage releases according to quality management procedures (you will work on a regulated product in a medical market). Continuous focus on quality and clinical performance: you follow up on issues, address product underperformance on clinical cases and assure quality on new features via in-house clinical expertise and user testing.

Communication & stakeholder influence

You standardize communication across teams and partners to keep everyone on the same page, manage dependencies and process feedback and requests from users, support, and other cross-functional teams. You push product use forward by hustling our partners to manage their part of a successful AI product to further drive product usage.
